ahold I assume this peak appears in positive
ionisation mode and has a poor UV response?
If you are injecting through vial caps, this
might be related to the type used. Try to
clean the system by injecting neat DMSO
(provided your column will tolerate this) a
number of times, this will clean your
injector and wash off the substance. Then
try some blank injections and make sure the
peak is not coming from the system. If you
inject again through the caps you can tell if
it comes from them.
admin a compound with m/z 288 in the blank (95%
acetonitrile with 0.05 % formic acid)detected
when performing L/MS. What is this peak and
how can I get rid of it?
