Chromatography software - 2005/11/28 17:34 Hi.

I need a better software to process my HPLC files.
The software must also be able to caculate signal to noise etc.. The input files will be 2 columns from a Excel spreadsheet.

Kind Regards

Peter

Millennium32 version 4.0 - 2005/11/28 17:35 I received complaints that our Millennium client workstations had become very slow. I was reviewing logs to try to figure out what happened and noticed internet connection requests by service.exe on our firewall. Does Millennium use any spyware?

Chromatograms from Millennium v3.05.01 - 2005/11/28 17:36 Hello everybody,

I don't know, if there's a regular method to "export" chromatograms from Millennium v3.05.01 to another program, but I stumpled over a kind of trick:
when previewing the desired chroamtogram inside the "Report publisher (Preview)", just rightclick the viewed report, select copy and paste it into MS Paint (for degreasing colors to save space - very handfully when attaching the chromatogram by e-mail).
You will only get the chromatogram (with header and footer), not the result table...

To copy the result table, review the integrated report, seltect the desired peak table and use copy/paste again...

Sure, Millennium has a (useless) capability of exporting peak tables, but I never get any usable tables when the report has a lot of columns (Millennium always crunshed some).

Maybe Waters fixed the problem in v3.20 or v4.0, I don't know and I'm not interested in upgrading, 'cause I know the bugs of 3.05.01 the the work arounds.
(you see, it's a windows application after all )

regards, Andreas Neumaier
