Salts Problems in Aqueous Sample - 2005/11/28 18:14
We analyse for oxygenates, aromatics and hydrocarbons in process water streams. The problem that we have is that the salt content is very high in these samples. This leads to the salts precipitating in the inlet of the GC and this forms a very active site in the liner. I have considered purge and trap but the concentration ranges of the differant compounds is to big for it to be viable. Any ideas for SPE? And comments about head space?
